Because Mum deserves something special | Mother's Day Gift Guide

If you missed the memo until now, Mother's Day here in the UK is in a mere few days (March 11th). So if you haven't yet hopped, skipped and jumped to find your Mum the perfect gift, now is the time to panic. Although, you may not have to panic quite too much, as I have an array of amazing gift ideas below, no matter your Mum's interests, or the budget you have in mind. Keep reading for my pick of the best gifts on the market…

For a memory that will last a lifetime
As always, my favourite place to start is the gift that keeps on giving, with an experience that you can share together. Until March 11th, Buyagift is supporting Breast Cancer Care for the Mum of a Kind campaign by giving 25% of the sale price from each of its Superwoman, Afternoon Tea with Bubbles and Indulgent Pamper Treat. I've picked the Superwoman Smartbox by Buyagift* (£49.99) here, as it has such a great choice of experience, including afternoon tea days, spa days and more adrenaline based activities.

If you'd like to give a experience that is more specific, my top choice this Mother's Day is the Afternoon Tea for Two at Harrods Georgian Restaurant* (£88 here). As many of us already know, Harrods is an iconic London institution and its Georgian Restaurant is the perfect home for a spot of afternoon tea. The luxurious afternoon tea is accompanied by unlimited loose-leaf tea of her choice, taken from Harrods extensive menu of the finest teas from around the world.

For a great beauty gift, she will treasure
Every Mother's Day, Ted Baker come up with an amazing set which will dazzle your mum. This year is no different, with Ted's Blush Bouquet Mother's Day gift* (£24 here). The set begins with a stunning cosmetics bag adorned with Ted's Bleinhem Jewels fashion print. Inside the bag, she will find with four luxurious bath-time treats: a Body Wash, a Body Lotion and a Hand Cream, each infused with Ted's Porcelain Rose Blush Pink fragrance, plus a perfectly purse-sized vanilla Lip Balm.

If you've followed my blog for a while, you will have heard me rave about Roger & Gallet! I love all their products, but their Rose scented range couldn't be more perfect for Mums! I particularly love their Roger & Gallet Rose Perfumed Soap* (£6.50 here), which of course smells amazing, but it's also finished with pink pleated silk paper and a pretty sticker. They also have their amazing Roger & Gallet Rose Scented Hand Cream*, which has the same amazing scent, but packed into an amazing hand cream formulation.

The extravagant fragrance which will have her speechless
CLEAN Reserve create some absolutely stunning fragrances, which truly feel exquisite and really luxurious. The CLEAN Reserve Velvet Flora fragrance* (£82 here) is no different - pitching a sophisticated and alluring fragrance that exudes brightness and confidence. The blend is what described as an 'Oriental Woody' scent, featuring top notes of Green Bergamot. The Middle Notes include Jasmine, Lily, and Saffron Flower. Finally, the Base Notes include Cedarwood Moss, Musk and Ambery Patchouli. The CLEAN Reserve fragrances feel special from the moment you clock the box, so she certainly won't be disappointed!

For tired Mums who need some TLC
There's no denying that Mums need a little TLC to help their eyes to look a little brighter and more awake. The Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Eye Lifting Balm Gift Set* (£36 each) is the perfect little set to spoil her with, thanks to three amazing products which will work to reverse the signs of ageing! The Resveratrol Eye Lifting Balm helps lift the eyelids, reduce wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles, whilst the Face Lifting Soft Cream and Firming Serum, will keep the skin soft and nourished.

Once Mum has pampered her eyes with some amazing skincare, she can pop on some amazing concealer products. My top pick for this edit is from IT Cosmetics - the famous USA makeup brand, which is now available on UK shores! The Bye Bye Under Eye* (£23.50) is ideal - as it's the only product I know of, which is practically 8 hours of sleep in a tube. It's absolutely perfect for all the mums too busy taking care of others, to find the time to get a full night's sleep!

The pamper gift for small budgets
If you're working to a very small budget, but still want something special, I highly recommend these beautiful products from Patisserie De Bain. My particular favourite are these packs of double packs of Patisserie De Bain Bath Melts* (£4.99 each) - they are available in loads of different scents and they literally fill the house with a gorgeous scent! They each have two layers to fizz in the bath and gently moisturise your skin. My other favourite product are the Patisserie De Bain Roly Poly Soaps*, not only do they have the cutest name in the world, but they also smell incredible too!

For five minutes of peace
No Mum needs an excuse to take a quick coffee break, which is why Whittards are a brand I frequently turn to when I'm treating Chris' mum. They literally have something amazing, no matter what your Mum's taste is. Some of my favourites include the Ground Amaretto Coffee*, the Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate* (£7 here) and the Vanilla Sundae Tea* (£6 here) - the perfect way to take five minutes and treat yourself to something sweet!

I'm not sure you can get much better than the REN Moroccan Rose Otto Oil* (£30 for 110ml), especially if Mum really likes something luxurious. As you pour this beauty into your bath, it turns bath water into a luxurious milk scented with the heavenly natural aroma of roses. Rose Oil is well known for it's stress relieving and soothing properties, so it's perfect for when you just have a few minutes to unwind in the evening. Mum's skin is left soft, supple and lightly scented with roses.

I've been a huge fan of the AQUIS Hair Towel* for a couple of years now and it's completely changed my hair routine! This was actually the worlds original microfiber hair towel, using their 'Aquitex weave' to transform microfiber into a luxury towel fabric. The joy of the AQUIS Hair Towel is that it can absorb a lot more water from your hair, whilst remaining lightweight and soft. This means that you don't need to rub your hair, thus there's very little chance of frizz and damage. It's the perfect addition to your Mum's daily routine, but also to a special pamper night!

Something for the home
So you probably know about the Ted Baker clothing and handbag range, but do you know that Ted Baker also have an amazing array of home fragrance products too? The Ted Baker Residence Collection* (from £28) is all about indulgence and sophistication, blending impeccable style and unique fragrances. Better still, all of the products have been packaged in on-trend packaging, with a dreamy colour palette of burgundy, pretty pink and elegant grey. The luxury doesn't end there either, thanks to the weighted glass vessel, which feels as luxury as it looks. There are three different scents, which each match a particular colour way. My favourite of the three is Fig & Olive Blossom, which blends notes of fig, olive blossom, geranium and amber.

When we were in John Lewis last weekend, Chris and I spotted this beautiful Marble Coaster (£8), finished with the most beautiful gold writing, which reads 'Mum'. It's a really sweet little something, which doesn't break the bank, but feels a lot more expensive than it is!
