New Illamasqua Aftermath Collection

The new Illamasqua Aftermath Collection* is about helping us to embrace the light, especially as the season begins to change. It’s a mixture of rich earthy tones, mixed with metallic hues, which can be used across the eyes and lips. The collection is so blogger-friendly that I’m certain there will be something you love, so let’s not waste any time and dive straight in…

Metallic Powder Eyeshadows* (£17 each)
Illamasqua are well known for their incredible pigments and eyeshadows, if you’re looking for a crazy colour, or a glitter that packs a punch – Illamasqua is sure to have it! These new Metallic Eyeshadows arrive in the classic Illamasqua packaging, what’s not to love about the glossy black packaging and the pretty palette shape? Each of the eyeshadows has a clear lid on the top, which lets the beauty of the Metallic Eyeshadow shine through. The eyeshadows are available in three shades which cover the three most common metals Hoard (a golden hue), Enchantment (a silver hue) and Superstitions (a bronze hue). This means you can use them alone, or combine them for more depth across the eye. It’s no surprise that these Metallic Eyeshadows are super pigmented – making them super impressive!

Broken Eye Gel* (£19 each)
If you’re looking for something a little bit different, I highly recommend the Broken Eye Gel. This arrives in a clear tube, which lets the product shine through. The top of the tube is finished with a glossy black lid, finished with a Illamasqua logo. When you unscrew the lid you find a wand, which has a little mini brush on the very end – it’s quite small, which allows for precision application. So, what is the Broken Eye Gel? Well, it’s a gel formula which aims to take metallic finishes to a whole new level. The gel is slightly coloured and inside you’ll find little specs of glitter, paired with larger pieces of foil. Dab this onto your cheekbones, inner eye or cupids bow for a unique highlighter. The Broken Eye Gel is available in two colours, Gold (which I have here) and Silver.

Lava Lips* (£20 each)
Last but certainly not least, we have Lava Lips which I’m sure beauty buffs are going to love! Lava Lips was previously released and had complete sell-out success, so Illamasqua are bringing them back in three new shades! Lava Lips is a two tone formula, which creates a marble- effect lipstick. This creates a unique shade with every application, depending on the mix of pigment you find at the top of the bullet. They arrive in the classic Illamasqua lipstick packaging and the three colours are Emanate (a brown-nude), Tectonic (a pink-nude) and Rebirth (a rich red).

I’ve swatched the entire collection for you below, from top to bottom we have: the Broken Eye Gel in Gold, Lava Lips in Tectonic, Rebirth and Emanate and the Metallic Powder Eyeshadows in Hoard, Enchantment and Superstitions. The whole collection is available right now from Illamasqua stores and the Illamasqua website here
