Great Gifts For Men | Christmas Gift Guide 2016

Last year I put together three Christmas Gift Guides, it was something I was a bit nervous about doing, but my readers loved them – in fact they were some of my most popular posts of the year! So I’m back again this year, with three Christmas Gift Guides and they are better than ever! Brace yourself for three HUGE gift guides, which will be perfect if you’re still looking for present ideas.

There's a guide which focussed on gifts for her here, one for gifts for him and one that looks at stocking fillers (it’s full of gifts which cost less than £15)! To kick us off I’m starting with the gifts for the ladies in your life. Today I'm giving you the low down on gifts for men, keep reading...

Grooming Gifts

Let’s kick things off on the beauty front and talk grooming! It used to be quite difficult to find decent gifts for the men, but these day brands are starting to cater for the men more and more. The best bit is that there is something at every price point, so no matter how much cash you have to splash, it’s easy to find something good! Mandara Spa have lots of great gifts for the men this year. The Mandara Spa Mens Travel Selection* (£11 here) arrives in a lovely black faux leather bag and inside you get three products (the Post-Shave Balm, the Body Spray and the 3 in 1 Bath & Shower Gel). The Mandara Spa Mens Body Duo* (£5 here) arrives in a black gift box, decorated with gold lettering. As the name suggests, in this gift you get two body products; the 3 in 1 Bath & Shower Gel and the Body Spray. Last but not least we have the Mandara Spa For Men Essentials Kit* (£3.50 here), which is a great stocking filler. This one arrives in a smaller rectangle box in the same packaging as the Body Duo. Neatly packaged inside you get the Post-Shave Balm and the Lip Butter with Mint.

I’ve completely fallen in love with KORRES this year and I just had to include the KORRES Men’s Kit* (£19.50 here) in this year’s gift guide. This kit arrives in a grey box, decorated with some black illustrations. Inside the box your man will get a whole load of mini products. This set is perfect if your boyfriend, brother, dad or friend travels a lot, or is new to the KORRES brand. When you open the box you will find; the Guava Shower Gel (40ml), the Basil Lemon Shower Gel (40ml), the Aloe and Dittany Shampoo (40ml), the Absinthe Shave Cream (25ml) and the Marigold and Ginseng After Shave Balm (25ml).

At the more premium end of the spectrum there’s the ESPA Men’s Skincare Survival Kit* (£40 here). I absolutely love the packaging of this gift, as it arrives in a replica silver paint tin. You peel back the lid and you find some gorgeous EPSA skincare, which is everything a man needs to look their best every morning. Inside the tin you get the Invigorating Facewash (50ml), the Energising Shower Gel (70ml), The Hydrator (35ml) and the Dual-Action Shavemud (30ml).

If you’re looking for a wash bag packed with goodies you need to check out the Temple Spa Eau Boy Gift Set* (here). This arrives in a super sleek back wash bag and there are five 100ml Temple Spa products. I think this would be a great gift for someone who needs a washbag of products to take to the gym – as the products are a great size! Inside the bag you get Way To Go, Stubble Trouble, Good Hair Day, Seize The Day and Peace Be Still.

Leave Him Smelling Good

Before this gorgeous set arrived from the team at Escentual, I’d never heard of Issey Miyake. Escentual have tons of different sets from the brand, including the L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Duo Gift Set* (available from Escentual here), which features two bottles of the Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Duo scent. There’s a full sized 125ml bottle for him to put in the bathroom and then there’s also a mini 40ml bottle for him to take on-the-go! Is it just me who absolutely loves this idea?! This fresh scent intertwines a vibrant yuzu note with cinnamon, nutmeg and elegant sandalwood.

Fashion gifts

My boyfriend is no fashionista but he still loves getting some fashion related gifts each Christmas. I think scarfs are a fantastic gift during the winter, as you can get so much wear out of them and I personally think it’s a lovely to have a new comfy scarf. The River Island Tartan Scarf (£15 here) is a lovely neutral scarf with hints of blue, I think it’s a great colour combination as it looks nice with so many outfits.

Of course a gift guide wouldn’t be a gift guide if it didn’t include boxers and socks! ASOS have some amazing gift sets this year, which are packaged inside mini crackers. I think these look so cute and you don’t even need to wrap them – perfect for secret santa! We all know that boxers come in all shapes and sizes, but something classic like these Button Calvin Kleins (£12 here) will surely go down a treat!

Lifestyle gifts

I have three lifestyle gifts in this guide which have you covered if he’s a gamer, a drinker or a chocolate lover! Chris and I spotted these PlayStation Coasters (£7.99 here) in our local supermarket and immediately picked up three packs for various friends and family members. Inside the box you get four official PlayStation coasters designed as each of the four iconic control pad buttons.

We spotted these Beer Mat Coasters (£5 here) in Debenhams, there are only £5 but inside you get thirty high quality beer mats. They are all double sided, so you get 60 different games plus the all important rules! Perfect if you know somebody who will be hosting a party on New Years Eve!

A gift he can eat

Last but not least we have the Belgian Chocolate Digger the Dog Pizza* (£14.99 here). Now I love pizza and chocolate, so as soon as I saw this I was SOLD! The pizza has Belgian Chocolate base isn’t topped with ham and pineapple, instead it’s topped with lashings of vanilla fudge, chocolate brownie cookie chunks and hundreds of thousands of white chocolate curls, finished with an exclusive Digger the Dog chocolate disc. It’s such a clever idea for both pizza fans and chocolate lovers, every time I look at it I have a little chuckle! I also spotted these Chocolate Sprouts in M&S which I think make an interesting alternative to chocolate coins if you’ll filling a stocking!

That concludes my final festive gift guide – I’d love to know what you’re buying your loved ones this year, leave me a comment below!
