Revlon Mascaras Get A Revamp | Ultra Volume

When Revlon announced last year that they were discontinuing all their mascaras and relaunching a full new range - I was actually pleasantly surprised. Even for a beauty fanatic, wading your way through the mascara world can be a bit tricky. I loved the simplicity of having five mascaras, all in the same packaging. The strengths of each mascara is written directly on the tube and you differentiate between them by their coloured lids.

The new packaging for these mascaras is gorgeous, they come in a matte black tube, finished simply with white writing! The mascara has ignored the norm of round tubes, swapping for something more square so they don't roll off your dressing table. I naturally have quite long lashes, what I really lack is the oomph and a definition. Despite my brunette locks, I lack the dark lashes to match. So I ultimately look for a mascara that will give me lots of dramatic definition and a jet black colour. So after umming and ahhing for several hours, I opted for the Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara

The Ultra Volume Mascara is all about the brush, which is Revlon's Lash Plumping Brush. The brush has triple grooves which allows the brush to hold lots of formula. The brush has a combination of both short and long bristles, which stops the mascara being clumpy. The brush is large and beefy, which means you can really coat your lashes in a lot of product. Easily applying two coats without getting your lashes in a complete mess.

The Revlon Ultra Volume Mascara comes in two shades; Blackest Black (which comes in waterproof and non-waterproof formulas) and Blackened Brown, so there really is something for everyone. You can pick it up from Boots and Superdrug for £6.99.
