March Beauty Favourites 2016

Spring officially started on March 20th and I'm so glad that the weather seems to be warming up. I've been testing lots of lovely makeup this month, in preparation for my Spring Beauty Edit which went live last week. So it was pretty hard to whittle it down to just a few prize products, but here are my March Beauty Favourites.

This palette from Becca has five neutral shades which all work well together to give you all you need for a contoured eye look. The five shades include everything from a light peach, to medium browns, all the way up to the richer chocolate browns. All the colours are really pigmented, they shades are all complementary to each other, but they also work beautifully on their own too. The colours are perfect for creating a polished ‘no make up make up’ effect.

By Terry’s Brightening CC Serum*
This serum aims to introduce strobing to our skincare routine, adding the strobing glow right at the start of our routine. This serum aims to add a lovely glow to your complexion before makeup to give us that natural glowing finish. The CC serum offers colour control, but also adds hydration and vitamin E. The pearlescent finish comes in a formula that feels weightless and soft on the skin. I have the shade Rose Elixir that is perfect for rose tones, brightening the skin and hiding signs of fatigue. I've been loving using this on the days when I feel a bit tired and need a little lift.

MERUMAYA's Gentle Exfoliating Toner
This is an acid toner designed for even the most sensitive skin. Inside the toner, there is the maximum level of Natural Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), coupled this with ingredients that will hydrate and soften the skin, meaning you don't end up with irritated skin. For the last few weeks I've been applying this in the morning and the evening. I simply cleanse and then I get a cotton pad, load it with the product and sweep it across my face. My skin feels more plump, but it also looks brighter. The toner doesn't aggravate or upset my skin and my skin doesn't look red or sore.

Hydraphase Intense Serum* by La Roche-Posay
This is a moisturising facial serum which has been enriched with La Roche-Posay's famous Thermal Spring Water. The Hydraphase Intense Serum is water-like in consistency and it has a clear formula. As you apply it to the skin it actually feels quite wet but it quickly absorbs into the skin without being greasy or sticky. After applying the serum to the skin, it instantly looks plumper and more refreshed and hydrated. I've been applying this both in the morning and the evening after cleansing, it leaves a great base for makeup and it helps reduce skin tightness if you apply it over night.

Bergamot & Pear Body Milk*
The Bergamot & Pear line from KORRES has a lovely fruity, citrus scent, which includes notes of Apple, Pear, Orange, Bergamot, Grapefruit, Spearmint, Rose, Jasmine, Sandalwood and Amber. The Bergamot & Pear Body Milk also has some incredibly moisturising properties, packed with ingredients which awaken the epidermis (the outer layer of the skin) to give the skin a bit of an energy boost. It also contains Shea butter and Jojoba oil which help our skin to feel more supple and hydrated, whilst also including the same ingredients as the shower gel to help the skins immune system.

What were your favourites this month? Have you tried any of these products?
