The new South Beach Blusher from Rodial

I think it goes without saying that I love trying new products, but I what I love more is discovering new brands. Rodial is a name that I see all over the bloggersphere, so I'm excited to be introducing it here on Hope, Freedom, Love. Rodial is a luxury skincare brand which is only eight years old, but it's already a global success. Rodial products are available worldwide, being sold in a whopping 35 countries. The award-winning products are loved my bloggers, celebrities and industry experts.

What I didn't know until very recently, is that on top their huge skincare line, Rodial also produce a line of makeup products. It's available online, but also at their flagship beauty counter at Harvey Nichols. The most recent addition to the makeup line is the Rodial Blusher, which is available in two shades; South Beach and Copacabana.

Here I have the Rodial Blusher in South Beach*, being a luxury brand, you will not be surprised that the packaging of this blusher is gorgeous. The blusher comes in a black compact, which is finished with some beautiful silver details. It has a leather effect finish on the top of the compact, which is finished with the classic Rodial 'R'. You simply lift the lid of the compact to reveal the blusher and a handy mirror, which makes on-the-go application that little bit easier.

The blusher itself is a pretty pink shade, which is a very light natural colour. Despite the light shade, it's still quite pigmented and buildable, which means you can build the colour from a subtle shade to something that really pops on the skin. The texture of the blusher is really creamy and soft, which makes it a joy to apply. It also has practically no fallout in the pan, no matter how much you swish your blush around in your compact. South Beach gives you a pretty glow on the cheeks, which will look lovely no matter what time of year it is. The powder is even boosted with oil absorption properties, which is great if you have oily skin or visit hotter climates.

All-in-all this is a really lovely blusher; both the packaging and blusher feels high end and the quality really oozes through to the consumer. You can pick up the Rodial blushers online for £30 each, I'd love to know which of the two shades is your favourite!
