Playing With Pink

The best thing about having a huge makeup collection like mine (albeit absolutely ridiculous) is that I can switch up my makeup bag at a drop of a hat. I've been stuck in a bit of a makeup rut recently, so I decided to delve in my drawers and find lots of pink things to play with.

Gosh Giant Blush in the shade 'Passion'
I've got a bit of a weakness for these stick type products. They are something so simple, but something that's so handy. The Giant Blush from GOSH were released last summer and 'Passion' is a gorgeous deep pink, it's a lovely rose shade. The formula is really creamy and they glide on to the skin with ease without dragging and blend out to a powder finish. They are really pigmented too, they do dry quite quickly though, so you just need to work quick! These are really affordable, they are only £6.99 and you can pick them up in Superdrug (here).

Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Balm in the shade 'I Want Candy!'
This is a really lovely balm from Rimmel London, which is one of the Rita Ora products. The shade 'I Want Candy' is a bright pink colour which is really easy to wear and it feels comfortable on the lips. What's great about this product in particular, is that it's really long lasting, you can just put it on and forget about it. It's only £5.99 too (here), which makes it a bargain.

Essie Peach Daiquiri
This is one of my all time favourite Essie nail polishes, a shade I always go back to. It's not too pink, it's not too coral, it's not too red. My perfect pink! It's obviously is named after the cocktail, and it suits it's name perfectly. It applies beautifully as it's incredible opaque, so you only need two coats. It just looks lovely on your nails all year round, especially in the summer with the sun shining. Pick it up from Boots (here) for £7.99.

Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm
This is a travel sized version of the Brilliance Balm from Pixi! I have the shade 'Pretty Pink' which on the lips is a lovely 'my lips but better' colour - it's more of a natural shade than Rimmel's I Want Candy. It's a glossy finish and it's full of lovely ingredients to hydrate your lips. Pixi sell loads of lovely colours of the Brilliance Balm, I'm tempted to pick up another shade. They retail for £12 and you can pick them up from Feel Unique (here).

Me Me Me Beat the Blues in the shade 'Pearl Pink'
These highlighters from Me Me Me are one of the only products from the brand that I actually like. These are famous for being Benefit dupes and it's a great alternative to shelling out £20 on High Beam. You can either mix it with your foundation, or you can apply it directly to your cheekbones for a lovely glow. It's only £5.99 and you can pick it up from the Me Me Me website (here).
