Bathroom Empties

After whizzing through and finishing a load of empties in my bedroom and stash, it was time to turn my attention to the bathroom! There were a lot of products that I'd basically finished and just left hoarding in the bathroom. It was time to get rid, it's amazing how many products I just have sitting there practically empty.

"Scrub 'Em And Leave 'Em™ Body Buff is scented with Mist You Madly's™ beautiful notes of bergamot, blackcurrant, magnolia, freesia, vanilla and musk.  Contains babassu oil, sea salt and moisturising jojoba and mandarin oils"

The first item was the Soap and Glory Scrub 'Em and Leave 'Em body buff! I picked this up last summer just before Chris' graduation as I was planning to fake tan. I just picked up this little tiny tub as I'd never used it before. I actually really liked this, it felt quite rough on the skin but it got the job done! The one thing I don't really like is the packaging, these tubs are such a pain to use in the shower!

"'Hair of the Dog' for Hair Hangovers, Lee Stafford Bling Hair Rehab Detox Shampoo helps to gently remove stubborn styling build up and pollution from your locks the morning after the night before."

The second item is the Hair Rehab Intense Conditioner from Lee Stafford, which came in equally annoying packaging for using in the shower! I got this at the Clothes Show in 2010 so again this has been on the go for a while. I hadn't actually completely finished this but it had been open a long time so it was time to say goodbye! After looking for this online it seems like it's been discontinued, I cannot find it anywhere.

"Awaken your skin with Neutrogena Deep Clean® Invigorating Scrub. Cleanses deep into pores and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and invigorated."

The next two items are skincare related, the first is the Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Daily Scrub. I just picked this up a whim randomly when I was in Boots one day because it was on offer and Chris needed a face scrub. I ended up using it and was fairly impressed, it felt really fresh on the skin and almost had a minty scent to it. It left my skin tingly and feeling really deeply cleansed. This is marketed as a daily scrub but I think it's a bit too harsh for that.

"Here's age-smoothing exfoliation without irritation. Gently removes sluggish cells, uneven patches and surface sun damage. Mops up free radicals. Refines, polishes and smoothes."

Last up is the Origins Modern Friction Scrub. It's interesting that Origins market this as being a very gentle exfoliation as to me, it felt quite harsh. However, it never left my skin feeling sore, raw or painful, it just gave my skin a really good cleanse! It did however really hurt my eyes when it went even in close proximity of them, which I'd never experienced before.

So there you have it, four bathroom empties! Have you tried any of these products, what did you think of them?

Go Karting Birthday Cake

It's becoming a big of a tradition between our family to make Birthday cakes. It all started with a Pig Mug Cake for Chris' Auntie's 50th Birthday, then a Minion Cake for Chris' little sister. Then Chris made me a Nail Polish Cake for my Birthday and now for Chris' Birthday, we made a Go-Karting cake!

We made two square cakes and put them side-by-side, filled them with Raspberry Jam and Buttercream. We then covered them with green fondant icing. For the track we used black fondant and then used red and white squares to make the kerbs. We then made some tyres out of black icing and then bought some ribbon for around the edge. It was that simple and we were so pleased with it!

If you love cake making please leave your links to pictures/blog posts below, I'd love to read about your cakes! I'm going to leave some pictures of my other cakes below!

Essie Twinkle-Bell Duo Set

Oh yes I finally own Essie Mint Candy Apple thanks to the Essie Twinkle-Bell Set!

I've been looking for an excuse to buy the Mint Candy Apple nail polish from Essie for a long time, so when I went into Boots and they had the Twinkle-Bell set, I had to have it! The Essie Twinkle-Bell set is a duo nail polish set that you can buy in Boots. I've been trying to get my hands on it for a long time but I could never find it. The duo set are two full sized nail polishes which retail for £12.99, so it saves you a bit of money!

The Twinkle-Bell Set comes with the Mint Candy Apple nail polish and the Sparkle on Top nail polish, so it will be the perfect duo for a pastel inspired Spring nail! I'm thrilled with this little set and I think it would make a great gift for a nail obsessed friend!

Weekly Roundup #1

I've really been loving reading Weekly Roundup's from various bloggers and I thought I'd start doing my own! Every Wednesday I'll share a selection of my Instagram snaps from the week before and share some of my highlights.

Last week I spend some time at the Beaumont Estate with work, I was covering a work conference. The Beaumont Estate is in Windsor and is just stunning! On site they have a Chapel which was built in the 1890's, it has a huge stained glass window which is just incredible. At the weekend we picked up two more testers for our flat. They were two 'Light and Space' colours from Dulux which we were picking out for the kitchen, we opted for 'Nordic Spa' which is a mint green colour. The rest of the weekend I spent relaxing at home, on Bank Holiday Monday Chris' Nan, Auntie and Cousin, came to visit. We played 'Phase 10' which is a card game, it's such a long game, it lasted about 6 hours in total! In the end I actually won which is the first time I've ever won, wooh! For dessert we had a lot of Strawberries which Chris' nan had bought from M&S, they were very yummy. Who else loves Strawberry season?

My favourite post from my blog this week was my 'Dry Skin Saviours' post, we all are rescuing our skin for the summer sun and I shared my favourite products for reviving dry skin! I also reviewed the Garnier Micellar Water and the Mango Lip Butter from The Body Shop. I even posted a restaurant review which was the Red Hot Buffet in Milton Keynes.

My favourite YouTube video was Lily Pebbles Vlog of her trip to Brighton, which you can watch here! My favourite blog of the week goes to The Sunday Girl, I've really been loving every single post! Song of the week goes to Example with his new song 'One More Day' which I love! You can watch the video to that here! Finally my product of the week is the OPI Cuticle Oil To Go, which i'll be reviewing here soon! It's been giving my cuticles some much needed TLC.

I hope you enjoy reading posts like this, let me know if you do and what you'd like me to include!

The Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara

I got the Maybelline Colossal Volum' Express Mascara in a Glossybox not too long ago. After using it for while I'm here to share my thoughts!

"Our collagen enriched formula and khol effect pigments give your lashes volume and super matte look."

If I'm honest I've never ever tried a Maybelline mascara and liked it, so I didn't hold out much hope for this, but I have to admit I actually really enjoyed using this mascara. It has a large wand which is the same all the way around, it's more of just a traditional wand, there's nothing fancy going on. The mascara itself is really easy to use, it's not too watery, it's not too dry, it's easy to apply. I just give my lashes two coats and it gives tons of volume and jet black definition. The only probably I have had is that it flakes quite easily, so when I get tired in the evenings and have rubbed my eyes, it does get a bit irritating. It's no huge deal, there's no fallout during the day, just in the evenings, so I just head upstairs and remove it with some micellar water.

I probably would repurchase this again, which as I say is rare for me with Maybelline mascaras, so I'm fairly impressed! You can pick this up in Boots and a variety of other places for £7.19.

Dry Skin Saviours

As we ramp up our efforts to get our bodies ready for summer, one thing we all want to do is get rid of dry skin. I'm here with a selection of my Dry Skin Saviours to get your skin looking tip top! These are all things I've reviewed individually but I have them here all in one handy post for you to consider.

First up is the Eucerin Aquaphor which is a Soothing Skin Balm. This is one for extreme dry skin, be it your ankles, elbows, feet, hands or just random patches, this is the saviour! This is a really thick balm which soothes the most dry skin, it soothes instantly and even fixes! This retails for £8.50 and you can read my full review here.

The Nuxe Reve de Miel will be no surprise to anybody, it's the most raved about lip balm on the planet and it well and truly deserves it's title. This is a thick honey scented balm which again heals and fixes. Perfect for getting your lips ready for matte lipsticks! This retails for £9.50 and you can read my full review here.

The Avene Hydrating Serum is the newest item to my routine from this list, it's a perfect serum which sinks into the skin and leaves you with a hydrated face. It's not greasy, it's not heavy, it just does the job. This retails for £17 and you can read my full review here.

Last in the list is the Garnier Hand Repair hand cream. I actually bought this for Chris, he had really dry skin from decorating our new home and his skin was red raw. I happened to be in Boots and saw this, it claimed to be able to repair hands that were even cracked so we gave it go. It healed his hands really well, now when my hands are feeling a bit dry I apply this and they feel as good as new! This retails for £3.99 and you can read my full review here.

Do you have any quick fixes for dry skin? I'd love to hear your recommendations!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

If you've read my blog for a while you'll know that I was a big fan of the L'oreal Micellar Water. So when the Garnier version launched I knew it wouldn't be long until I tried it!

"Garnier introduces micellar technology in an all-in-one cleanser. Like a magnet, the cleansing agents capture and lift away dirt from the skin. No need to rub to remove impurities and make-up. "

Since taking this photograph I have used roughly half the bottle so I thought it was an apt  time to write a review. My first acknowledgement is how long this seems to last, I actually decanted 100mls of this when I went to America and still it didn't make a dent. I would have finished a bottle of the L'oreal version by now! I do have to say that this is a lot closer to 'water' than the L'oreal version, it doesn't have a chemical smell or taste. It really just melts the makeup away and leaves you with really clean skin. It also doesn't dry out the skin, it leaves the skin feeling moisturised and certainly not stripped. Can I also add in how much I love the packaging of this? I know it's kind of a rip off of the Bioderma packaging, but its much nicer than the L'oreal Micellar. It also is much easier to use, you don't end up with too much water on your cotton pads or chucking it all in your lap!

I can say already that I'll definitely be repurchasing this when I finally finish this bottle, it's definitely now my favourite micellar water! The Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water retails for £5 for 400ml but is often on offer to pick it up much cheaper!

Red Hot World Buffet Review

A few weeks ago we had a friend come to visit and he's a big fan of buffets. So there was only one place that we knew we needed to take him: Red Hot World Buffet.

"Escape to Red Hot World Buffet and join us on a journey of discovery. Sample a wide combination of bespoke dishes comprising of mouth-watering cuisines from around the world. Each restaurant has a unique atmosphere that provides a dining experience unlike any other. There are no rules or limitations at Red Hot and you can enjoy your visit in your own way. Food is prepared at live cooking stations by specially trained chefs that only use fresh ingredients. The hardest part is choosing from such a huge variety of tempting treats."

Basically Red Hot is a buffet service where they have food options from all around the world. There's an Italian, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, Grill, Fish and Desserts section, so you have a whole host of options to choose from. It's really good if you're quite fussy with food as there's a ton of options and you can try a lot of different things. It's an all you can eat scenario, so you can have as much as you like. They have sections that have lots of pre-prepared food and then lots of sections where the food is made for you. My favourite section is obviously the Italian part, you select your pasta and your sauce and they make it fresh for you. Chris and our friend were big fans of the Grill section, where they had several flame grilled pork chops. They also enjoyed the ice cream section, where they made you a personalised ice cream sundae! Of course the food is not world class or gourmet, but for the price you pay it's incredible!

We visited the restaurant in Milton Keynes but they have tons of different restaurants around the country.

Paul Mitchell Dry Wash

I'm here today with a review of the Paul Mitchell Dry Wash, but it's a little different to a standard dry shampoo!

The Paul Mitchell Dry Wash is a dry formula which just like a standard dry shampoo, leaves your hair looking freshly washed and smelling lovely. The Dry Wash has a powerful direction spray which allows you to direct the product in the right section of your hair. What's different is that the dry shampoo doesn't have any powder or residue inside, so when you spray it you don't get the grey look that you get with other brands. So instead of rubbing it into your scalp, you just have to brush it through and it's undetectable! This means that no matter what colour your hair is, it will work for you! It does an incredible job of removing excess oil from your hair and I love using it on my fringe on second day hair!

The Paul Mitchell Dry Wash is quite expensive though, priced at £9.95 for 50ml and £18 for 250ml!

M&S Home Wish List

There's no doubt that I'm getting obsessed with home wish lists, so I hope someone out there enjoys them! I'm back with another wish list as I've just fallen head over heals with some beautiful things from M&S.

First up is something I've actually been looking for, I've been hoping to find a cute water jug for our new home. This little Leaf Print Jug is really nice and is £12. This little hanging rose heart is so simple but it is so beautiful. It would just look lovely in my new bedroom which will be full of white accessories. It's cheap too as it's only £7.50! I'm a huge fan of the 'Home Sweet Home' wall art, it's really simple again but very effective. It comes framed for £19.50 here. I'm a big fan of Date Blocks, I don't know why, but everytime I see one I fall in love. They are just very sweet, I think these are quite pricey as they are £19.50. The little S Cushion is super sweet, I'd love to get one S and one C and but them in our new office! I think these are really good value as they are £10 each. The final thing in my M&S wishlist is this super cute Retro Clock, I think this would look lovely in a nice vintage room! It retails for £25.

I think M&S have a fantastic range of homeware, I love looking around the M&S stores and picking out pretty things. Where is your favourite place to shop for homeware?

The Body Shop Mango Lip Butter

When I'm not using the Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Balm, I'm obsessed with these little pots of joy from The Body Shop!

"This buttery balm melts onto the lips for instant hydration. It contains real mango seed oil."

The Body Shop Mango Lip Butter comes in this very cute little pot which is orange, to match the Mango theme. The Lip Butters come in a range of different scents (and flavours) which all have a different colour depending on the scent. These little lip butters are just fantastic to use on the go, they obviously have a buttery texture which is just beautiful to use. But they also give instant hydration to you lips, I actually took this to Paris when we went last January and it kept our lips in such good condition. They even smell incredible too!

They retail for a teeny tiny £4 which I think is so worth it! You can pick it up online here.

Nails Inc 'Chester'

When the Nails Inc Feathers collection launched last year I fell instantly in love with them. So when I saw I had one of the collection in my Nails Inc Nail Polish Diary I was pretty happy! Last weekend I finally got it out for a play and I’m seriously impressed, these polishes are everything you expect and more! They really deserved all the hype they had! The feather effect nail polish in ‘Chester’ features little blue, yellow and peach strands which give the illusion of feathers to your nails.

In my swatch you can see a single coat, followed by two coats, the nail polish really allows you to play around to get your desired look. Nails Inc even encourage you to go for 3 coats to give your nails a really full coverage. I wore this over the weekend over a mint green nail polish and it just looked beautiful! I think it's a lovely alternative to wearing glitter and the pastel shades are perfect for the impromptu sun!

I’ve been looking around on the web and it looks like Nails Inc are actually discontinuing these polishes?! I thought I better get this post up asap, because if you move quickly you can grab this in the sale for a tiny £5. It’s a total bargain at that price and I really recommend you treat yourself. You can pick up some of the other feather shades too, which I’m trying to not be tempted by!

Home Decorating Update

It's now been three months since we finally got the keys to our long awaited home purchase and we've been beavering away. We made the decision very early on that we were stripping the whole place down to it's bare plaster, ceilings and floors and starting all over. Little did we know the real task we were taking on, three months in we don't have a single room finished but things are slowly taking place.

There's finally paint going on to the walls and we've been battling the art of painting straight lines. The living room has a brown colour scheme, which has actually dried a lot lighter than in the first picture, it's a Dulux shade called 'Soft Stone' and it's really pretty. We have two bathrooms, one ensuite and one main bathroom, both of them are tiled, which we chose not to strip off the walls. The ensuite tiles have a blue shade in them, we chose to go for a bright blue for the walls which is Dulux's 'Blue Lagoon'. The main bathroom has green tiles, so to complement them we've chosen 'Willow Tree' by Dulux. It's actually a very pretty mint shade which very close to Essie's Mint Candy Apple!

We made a decision a couple of weeks ago that we were going to rip out the kitchen and modernise it. Something our bank balance doesn't like! We've chose our kitchen, which is the Riley design from Wickes, it's a white wood kitchen which we're pairing with oak worktops! We initially nearly bought a kitchen from Homebase but the quality was shocking! We're really excited to be getting a new kitchen, it's going to look beautiful!

I'm looking forward to sharing before and after pictures with you guys for every room, but we're still a long way off yet! Have you been making any home improvements? I'd love to see blog posts about them!

H&M Homeware Wish List

When you spend your life planning a brand new flat, you spend a lot of time browsing homeware shops. If it wasn't already obvious I'm completely obsessed with H&M Home, everything is so beautiful! So today I thought I would share with you some of the most beautiful items I've found on the H&M website, which I'm battling inner demons not to buy!

First up lets battle the cushion obsession; the floral linen cushion (£12.99 here) is just beautiful, I have nowhere to put it because nowhere has a blue theme in the flat, so why do you want it?! Onto cushions that I could find homes for, the Stencil Cushion Cover (£6.99 here) is just so simple but so effective, it would look lovely on my new sofa! It would look lovely with the Ruffle Cushion Cover (£7.99 here).

On to kitchen accessories, I literally have a love affair with this glass patterned jug (£12.99 here) it just screams summer, BBQ, ice cream, everything beautiful and I need it in my kitchen! I love the Patterned Plates (£3.99 here) that H&M have and these one with pink detailing is just lovely. Last but certainly not least are these pot holders, they are really cheap (£3.99 here) and they will be perfect for protecting my worktop in the new kitchen!

I feel a haul coming on...

Glossybox & Superdrug Collaboration

Glossybox's marketing this month was so on point. They had everyone on the edge of their seats waiting to find out who the mystery collaboration was going to be. There were a lot of speculation about what it might be, but it was the one brand I didn't even think about. The mystery collaboration turned out to be Superdrug, celebrating turning 50 years old. Glossybox revealed the brand with a special video and I was instantly excited. They had some really fantastic brands and products on offer and I figured I was destined to get a fabulous box. Sadly I'm a little disappointed, lets look into the contents!

"2 letters for perfect-looking skin...instantly! Garnier’s B.B. cream, Miracle Skin Perfector, with mineral pigments and vitamin C. It unifies, illuminates, hydrates and helps protect with SPF 15."

First up is the Garnier BB Cream in the lightest shade, it's a fantastic full size product to receive in the box and for once it's in the right shade! I probably would have been more excited about this if I hadn't just bought it to try out! If only I had seen this coming.

"Bright, multi coloured beads for nails. Fun, fashionable and ideal for parties."

Next up is the 2true 3D Candy nail art, undoubtedly my least exciting item of the box. Simply because I just won't use it! I would have much preferred the B. nail polishes that some people got in their boxes. I feel like these caviar nail beads are past their hayday! I also hate 2True as a brand, they are really cheap and a bit rubbish!

"A wide-eyed False Lash Look. Fanned out volume. No clumps. Lashes up, out & over the top! Hourglass brush - Coats lashes individually for that iconic false lash look."

Next is the Rimmel London Retro Glam Mascara, I never moan about mascara as I just love trying them out. Rimmel is one of my favourite brands for mascara so I'm happy to have it in my box!

"I Love... Strawberry & Milkshake Lip Shimmer. Fall in love again; there's something about the super smoothness of my thick creamy aroma, united with a burst of fresh strawberries, that leaves your senses elated and tastebuds-a-tingling! Leaving your your lips super soft and glossy with a hint of shimmer."

The next item I'm completely unimpressed with, it's the I love... Strawberry and Milkshake lip gloss. This is another brand that I find cheap and tacky, it's just a product I will not use and probably pass it on to Chris' little sister. This actually isn't even on the Superdrug website anymore, but another site has it listed for £1.

Last in my box is the Superdrug Doughnut Ring, I've always wanted to try one of these but I do have short hair. So I suspect I won't be able to use it, but I'll give it a go!

Also in my box I got two little extras, a sample of Ghost perfume and a Garnier Oil Beauty sachet. In total my box would cost around £22, which is significantly less value than a lot of the other boxes around. It's an okay box, but some of the other variations are incredible, I'm tempted to buy a second box and see if it's better, do I take the risk? Please leave your own Glossybox reviews below!

Latest In Beauty Luxury Samples

Latest In Beauty is a really fabulous brand who creates different themed beauty boxes every month or so, but they also have a section of their website called 'Luxury Samples'. They have a selection of items from past boxes, or just brand new items that you can try out for a really good price. The idea behind it is you get to make your very own beauty box packed with products you really love. Recently I was browsing the site and I got sucked in by free delivery and so I picked out a couple of things to try (like I need anymore samples)!

The first thing I picked out was the Caudalie Hand and Nail Cream, it was a random selection from three flavours and I got the Blackcurrant Leaf flavour (I was secretly hoping for Pink Grapefruit but I think this will be lovely too). Latest in Beauty say:

"Inspired by the rich, mellow, powerful notes of Merlot, a sensual fragrance that reveals notes of wild blackberry enhanced by tangy blackcurrant leaf and accentuated by the intensity of bergamot."

The next thing I picked out was the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector. I've heard loads of people say lovely things about this, so I'm really excited to try it! Latest in Beauty say:

"Luminous and water-light, this sheer liquid veils skin in a soft pearlised glow of light-reflecting particles that subtly highlight the face and diffuse uneven tone. Broad spectrum sun protection and antioxidants keep skin looking fresh, young and healthy."

Both of these samples were priced at a tiny £4 each which I think is a really great price. If you fancy treating yourself to a personalised beauty box, you can check out the website here. Latest in Beauty also have a selection of pre-made boxes of luxury samples!

Garnier Kit For Glowing Skin #UniqueTreats

If you didn't know about this already, Feel Unique are running a special thing this month called #UniqueTreats. Where they have a special treat every single day in the month of May! On the first day they had a selection of treats which you could save £10 on and this caught my eye.

This is the Garnier Kit For Glowing Skin which contains two full sized items. The first is the Ultimate Beauty Oil and the second is the BB Cream in the light shade. This normally retails for £12, which I took £10 off, so I got this lovely set for a tiny £2! Which I think is fabulous value and a great way to try things! So I picked this up on May 1st, on my way to work, used my phone and paid by Paypal and it came on the 6th of May! So it was super quick and it was a lovely little treat to myself!

I haven't tried either products yet, but the point of this post was to mainly make you aware of the Unique Treats promotion and to check out all the offers! You might find a fab treat for you or for a friend for a great price! I'll be back soon with reviews of both of these products, I hope they do not disappoint!

Chris Loves... LOreal Men Deodorants

I've been asked for a while if I could feature products aimed at men, it's taken me a while but I'm here with my first one. Obviously I'm a woman, so I've been getting Chris to try lots of new things to find some great products to feature. I'll be posting about products whenever we find something and I'll be calling the posts "Chris Loves...".

Chris has tried a lot of deodorants in his time and none of theme have really blown him away. They've always been a means to an end, but nothing to really write home about. That was until we picked up the LOreal Men Deodorants. They just happened to be on offer when we went into Boots and Chris figured he'd give them a go.

They come in a ton of different types, there are ones aimed at people who wear white shirts, people who want invisible protection, people who want extreme protection and even people who want a whopping 96 hours of protection. In fact if you open LOreal Men Deodorants on Boots you get a whopping 14 options, so you're not stuck for choice. Chris has tried a whole load of the options and been universally impressed, but his favourite by far is the 96 hour protection claim. He (obviously) never wears his deodorant for 96 hours but it literally keeps all sweat (and the smell that goes with it!) at bay! It even smells good which is a huge plus!

You can shop LOreal Men Deodrants basically everywhere; Boots, Superdrug, Sainsburys, Tescos, anywhere you tend to get your beauty products. Why not treat your fella and let us know what he thought!

Essie Duo Sets

Just a very quick post today to let you know about some very cute Essie sets. Essie have a collection of duo sets that they have launched into Boots and they are super cute!

These little duo sets are £12.99 and they have two full sized nail polishes inside. Which of course if really good value as they are normally are priced at £7.99 each. The best part about these duos are that there are no 'duff' colours. Normally in sets there are some colours you really want and some that are not some favourable. I had five minutes to run into Boots and I was really stuck about what duos to choose (even though I was picking three as they were on 3 for 2)! In the end I picked out 'Twinkle-Bell' which is the famous Mint Candy Apple and Sparkle at the top. The second set was 'Mama Knows Best' which is a pink shade called Peach Daquiri and a purple shade called Lilcasim. The last set is the 'prep 'n' protect' which is a base and top coat which I am in desperate need for! There are lots of other options too, so make sure you explore!

I'm going to be back with swatches of the sets individually, so for now that's all for me, but definitely check them out when you're next at an Essie stand!

Lunch at Zaza

Zaza will be no news to anymore who's read my blog before, it's by far my favourite Italian restaurant. Zaza is a very small chain, they have eight restaurants around Hertfordshire and they are fantastic! Since I got my new phone I've been snapping away and I've taken a lot of pictures when I've been eating out, so I thought I'd share another lunch with you guys!

This time I tried a new starter, which is the Mozzarella and Tomato salad, it was really nice, but I always think the portion is a bit small! I know that they don't want to be too generous with the Mozzarella, but they could chuck a few more leaves and tomatoes in! It was really enjoyable though and the dressing was beautiful! I'm sorry for featuring another carbonara on this blog but this is probably my favourite meal of all time. Zaza's Carbonara is the best I've ever had, it's incredible! It's so creamy and so delicious!

For once we actually went for dessert, we stayed chatting for an hour or so after the mains, so cake was calling me! We had the Tiramisu and again this was incredible! I think when you have Tiramisu you have to do it right and this was really nice. It was topped with amaretto biscuits which gave it such a beautiful texture!

I cannot express how good value for money lunch at Zaza is! It's two courses for £9.90 and the main meal portion is incredible, you can even add a dessert for £2.95! You should you definitely check it out if there is one near you.
