May Favourites

Another month of passed and it's time for another set of favourites.

It's been a great month of hair discoveries, first up is the Brilliant Brunette Fixing Shine Maximum Hold Hairspray by John Frieda. I had this in my 'to try' pile for quite a while, so when my Paul Mitchell finishing spray ran out, I grabbed this. It's a fantastic holding spray and works really well, I'm not sure why this one is specifically for brunettes, but it works well regardless! It holds the hair really well and is perfect for adding volume. I also rediscovered my bottle of LOreal Mythic Oil, I stopped using this for a little while and I have no idea why. It leaves my hair super soft and breathes life into my locks. When I first got this I was really worried this would make my oily hair more greasy, but it doesn't!

Just one thing in the skincare category this month; the L'Oreal Paris Skin Perfection Micellar Solution, this is a great micellar water, removes makeup effortlessly and is priced reasonably too!

For makeup I've been loving the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum foundation, it gives quite good coverage and evens out my skin-tone. It lasts really well and just leaves my skin looking healthy all day long. I've also really been loving the Benefit Erase Paste, it has such good coverage, which means I can use it both on dark circles and imperfections. Again this lasts really well when I set it with a powder. The Real Techniques Shading Brush joined my collection this month and I'm in love. It's perfect for defining the crease as it's just the perfect size! On my nails I have not stopped wearing the Maybelline Color Show nail polish in Chalk Dust, it is just the perfect topcoat. I think I've worn it basically every single day! My favourite coloured polish has to be the Essie shade Maximillian Strasse-Her, the perfect pair for Chalk Dust!
