Lush Haul

For the first time ever, I actually walked into a Lush store and brought some goodies, I'd been umming and ahhing about this for sometime and I dragged Chris in there to pick out some Christmas presents and I thought I'd treat myself!

You will notice that it's an unusual Lush haul for a blogger as there is in fact not a single bath bomb, and that's because we don't have a bath, which always makes me sad but there's nothing I can do! So here are the products I chose!

The first thing I brought was Sandy Santa, which as you can see is a super cute Santa shaped body exfoliant!

"Those great Christmas traditions of sun, surf and Santa! A sunny citrus body scrub with hints of floral, to perk up winter skin or get summer skin swimming-suit ready. Sandy Santa has his sunshades on ready and is bursting with the smell of juicy Brazilian orange oil, sandalwood and rosewood.  His sugar, sand and bicarb will exfoliate and soften the skin whilst he spreads a bit of tropical summer wherever he goes.To wash and buff your body and to clear away dead skin, just take this sugar scrub into warm wet water – whether that’s in your bathroom, your shower or at a sun kissed beach somewhere!"

I really love the smell of Sandy Santa and of course he's Christmas themed which makes me very happy! Sandy Santa costs £2.95 and can be purchased in store or online here.

The next thing I brought was Each Peach (and two's a pair), I've wanted this for so long, ever since Louise from Sprinkle of Glitter made a video on her best Lush products. It smells as good as I imagined, and in case you haven't noticed I love citrus and fruity scents! Each Peach is a massage bar so here's the blurb:

"Fruity bar that will leave you feeling just peachy
A lovely rich massage bar with beautiful fruit oils.
With this massage bar, we have combined cocoa butter, shea butter, avocado butter and mango kernal butter. Which means this is not just very emollient and moisturising for the skin, but will give a good slip when it is being worked over the body. The fruit oils not only give a lovely lighthearted fragrance that smells of summer and sun - grapefruit essential oil, sweet wild orange oil, lime oil and mandarin essential oil all fight depression, uplift the mind and clear your thoughts. Lighthearted and frivolous oils in serious butters – Each Peach is a massage that makes you feel fruity and energised. Named after the children’s book Each Peach Pear Plum. We work with our spa massage therapists to find the exact blend that best suits our massage bars. We like to give a range of bars that provide different types of feels on the skin, everything from a rich heavy blend to lighter, dryer blends. But all of them need to go on the skin easily and glide well – so that your skin is not dragged and so it is easier for massaging. Our bars may look simple, but the formulas are finely crafted and honed to perfection."

The last thing I brought was the Snow Globe soap, which definitely looks more cute in the massive chunk in the actual store! But I love the soap, it smells phenomenal  Smells like grapefruit, so it's very fruity and lovely!

"A winter soap that shakes things up

A snowy dome of soap with an uplifting lemon myrtle and lemongrass fragrance.
We make this blue soap in a big dome shape and puts lots of balls of white soap in it, to look like a snow globe that’s just been shaken up. When we cut you a slice from it, it means that no matter where we go through with the knife, you’ll get an interesting slice - white, blue or a bit of both. And as your nose goes to smell it and expects to smell mint (because that’s what everyone does with blue winter soaps), what you get instead is a burst of uplifting citrus and lemongrass. Just what you need in the depths of winter when all about you is cold and bleak.  Shake up something a little different in your bath or shower and escape for a little while."

Snow Globe soap costs £2.95 per 100g and can be purchased in store or online here.
